J Morris Enterprises, LLC, began with a focus on family. We wanted and needed to figure out a way to take care of the needs and wants of our family. We wanted to take the work ethnic that we had developed working for others and apply it to adding value to the lives of others through our company. So, we walked away from our jobs, sold every item in our rental house, packed up and moved to Juanita’s hometown of Decatur.
We continue to work to build a company and offer services that we believe in. We develop programming and offer services that truly bring us joy. Our clients have been and continue to be amazing. We are thankful that we have an opportunity to impact our community and change lives through employment and services provided.

Jeremy K. Morris is a native of Bolivar County in the Mississippi Delta. The second of four sons of a farmer and a career educator, he is no stranger to working hard. His experiences in corporate
America; with minority-owned businesses and higher education institutions have taught him the essential skill of also working smarter. His formal years found him alongside his father and brothers, ensuring crops were planted, maintained and harvested.
An independent thinker with the tenacity to make and communicate financial change on all levels. Strategic, results driven leader with 20 years of progressively responsible financial analysis, P&L, budgeting, accounting, forecasting and marketing experience. Decisive and inspiring professional with a career built on sound financial analysis, accounting, sales and business development education and experience.

A Passion to Educate
Dr. Juanita M. Morris returned to her birth town of Decatur, Illinois, in 2016 after a short 26-year stint away. She has taught high school and college-level math, research methods to undergraduate & graduate students and recruited thousands of high school seniors to attend colleges and universities. She has also served as an administrator in both k-12 and higher education.
Dr. Morris has a commitment to community. She established the Girls Who Code of Macon County, created a Summer Math Academy for all students in Macon County, a founding member of MDH Educational Foundation (www.mdheducationalfoundation.com), and is the creative that has been assigned the task of the .
If given the opportunity, Dr. Morris will share that she does fun work. Good work. Her given assignment is to impact community and lives through teaching, training and learning.
